The Licking County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a leadership conference in March at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark.
The 2023 Women's Leadership Conference is a program where professionals can learn from experienced female panelists. The theme of the event is Passion, Purpose, and Perseverance. Many panels will be held at the conference, including 5 Money Questions for Women, 1 Minute Purpose, and What's Your Stance? Guests can hear from speakers such as Kathy Patton, Mary Henton, and Heather Powell. There will also be a fireside chat at the event about bringing one's whole self to work.
The keynote speaker for the conference is Alisa Klepser, a licensed clinical counselor who works at the Re-Wellness Center in Ohio. She has experience teaching at the Columbus State and Central Ohio Technical College. Klepser went to Walden University and The Ohio State University and earned a psychology degree. She also volunteers with The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition, a group that provides adventure opportunities to those with disabilities.
The women's conference will be held on Friday, March 3 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Tickets to the event will cost $100 per person, which includes breakfast and lunch at the venue. The programs are designed with women in mind, though anyone may attend. Organizations offering conferences like this may bring promotional Pens to share with attendees.
