Newark museum to raise money with car show

The National Heisey Glass Museum in Newark will be hosting a car show in July to earn money for its operating funds.

The Dick Marsh Memorial Car Show is an event organized by the Buckeye Heisey Collectors Club where people can check out unique cars while enjoying food from attending vendors. The collectors club holds multiple meetings at the museum throughout the year. Attendees at the car competition can listen to live music, take part in a 50/50 raffle, and enter to win prizes during the event. Ice cream will also be available to purchase while at the museum’s car show.

The National Heisey Glass Museum is an attraction that was initially established in 1972 as a designated area to display and promote items made by A.H. Heisey & Company. Several creations can be viewed at the facility, such as glass molds, vases, animals, and plates. The museum even organizes multiple events per year, including the 2022 HCA Convention and Heisey Heritage Auction. Attractions like this may market their programs to people with flyer printing.

The car show will be held on July 31 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Guests will not need to purchase a ticket to enter the museum’s activity, and prior registration is also not required. People can help the National Heisey Glass Museum continue to stay open by donating online to the facility’s operating fund.
