A music festival that is a traditional part of summer in Newark is on the way.
Midnight Jam 2021 is on the schedule for things to do in Newark, with a list of artists already posted, though organizers say there could still be some changes. Those scheduled to appear thus far are Eli and the Enigma; Kadie Meadows; Nat Reeb; Mike Perkins; Strigus Khan; Blue Moon Soup; Dupree’s Dead Band; Thunder Chicken; and Katz N Jammerz. Poster printing can be used to create colorful advertising to promote events like this.
Organizers have already revealed a change in the line-up but think fans will like it. A new band, Chameleons in the Color Factory, is an offshoot of Blue Moon Soup, and uses some of the same musicians. Caleb Estey, drumming for the Jungle Jazz Initiative, and Joe Biglin, keyboardists for the same outfit, will join Blue Moon Soup’s Evan Lane in the new group. Also coming along is bassist Peter Lister from the Cirotti Trio. Justin Moon, singer/songwriter for Blue Moon Soup rounds out the list of performers in the Chameleons. The new group promises a special performance featuring some of the best musicians in the region.
The Midnight Jam is set to begin June 11 at 3.00 pm and winding down at 12.00 pm on June 13. The venue is Brushy Fork Phamily Ranch or Brush Fork Road. Health protocols in effect at the time of the performance will be enforced.
