Beatlemania hits Newark

The Fab Four may be gone, but their music lives on, and will be heard in Newark again soon.

The Beatles changed the face of popular music and remain the best-selling musical group of all time. They have inspired a number of tribute bands, including one coming to Newark.

Hard Day's Night got together in 1996, and has been performing Beatles' songs ever since. The band is based in Cleveland, and has won accolades as one of the best tribute bands currently performing. Hard Day's Night performs songs from all the Beatles' eras, including the early years when they were touring, and the later years, when they often recorded in the studio.

The tribute group plays the Beatles' songs exactly the same way the legendary band did. They go onstage in the characters of John Lennon, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, and Paul McCartney, and wear suits made to exactly replicate those worn by the original quartet. They also use the same instruments as the Beatles.

A review of a Hard Day's Night performance says:

“I was amazed at their hi-fidelity to the original songs and the caliber of playing I was a little bummed when I realized I missed previous sets . . .Gotta return to see them again!”

Hard Day's Night will be in the Main Ballroom of Thirty One West in Newark on February 21, from 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Events like this provide an opportunity for venues to distribute Business Cards.
