White Plains business group to host technology conference

Westchester County Association (WCA) is working with Westchester County and the STEM Alliance to run the Hudson Valley Digital Innovation Conference this summer.

The half-day conference will begin with a light breakfast. The event’s theme is Tech for Good: Powering Regional Readiness. Speakers will discuss new technologies like AI, advanced information systems and quantum computing and how they will impact the region’s businesses, infrastructure and economy. Dr. Juan De Pablo, an expert in engineering and quantum innovation at NYU, will give the opening keynote.

The keynote will be followed by three panel discussions. These will cover the new information economy with a focus on IBM’s experience, infrastructure requirements for quantum computing and educational programs to prepare students and employees for roles requiring quantum computing expertise. The conference will conclude with a networking reception and lunch. Conference attendees often exchange Business Cards during this type of networking event.

Tickets are available online now for $30 for WCA members and $40 for non-members. WCA is a White Plains-based business organization that supports local professionals and regional economic development. Sponsorship packages are also available for $5000 or $2500, depending on the tier. These include event tickets, recognition on marketing materials and verbal acknowledgment during the event.

Converge ’26: The Hudson Valley Digital Innovation Conference will be on Thursday, July 12, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, at Sarah Lawrence College.
