Steffi Nossen School of Dance in White Plains is hosting a winter break camp for elementary schoolers this February.
Dancers will take daily ballet, jazz, and modern classes focused on techniques and choreography. The instructors hope to build students’ confidence and strengthen their communication skills. Parents can contact the studio directly for more information.
The camp will also include a visit to ArtsWestchester, where students can see an early preview of the Arts Exchange exhibit. This will be the 4th annual Arts Exchange show. This series features a group of local artists and is designed to bring more public attention to the creative economy in Westchester. Details will be announced to the public soon. Campers will take a guided tour of the exhibit. They will also work on their own choreography based on their interpretations of the artwork once they return to the studio.
The Mid Winter Break Camp is open to dancers in first through fifth grades. Parents can register their children on the Steffi Nossen School website. The participation fee is $460 for the week. Studios often use flyer printing services to promote their special events and programs.
The camp will run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm on Tuesday, February 17 through Saturday, February 21 at the Steffi Nossen School of Dance in White Plains.
