White Plains arts group to host concert fundraiser

ArtsWestchester is holding a benefit concert this fall.

Black Violin, a duo that combines hip-hop and classical influences, will perform. The evening will include a VIP dinner and reception, the concert and an after-party where dessert will be served. The duo, Wil Baptiste and Kev Marcus, are performing as a stop on their Be Free tour, which they describe as a challenge to what audiences expect from string instruments.

Tickets for the concert only range from $21.50 to $93, depending on seat location. Ticket holders can also purchase valet parking for $20 and admission to the after-party for $75. VIP packages include the dinner and reception, premium concert seats, the after-party, and valet parking. These are $650 per person, $1250 per group of two or $2500 per group of four. Groups of four will be listed in the playbill, and larger group packages include additional sponsorship benefits.

Businesses can also purchase ads in the playbill. Prices range from $650 for a quarter-page to $2500 for a full page. Packages that include a full-page ad and social media recognition are also available. Event planners often work with Stationery printers to create this type of playbill. Concert proceeds will support ArtsWestchester, a White Plains-based nonprofit that works to make the arts more diverse and accessible.

The Benefit for ArtsWestchester will be on Saturday, November 7, starting at 7:00 pm.
