White Plains art awards luncheon celebrates milestone year

ArtsWestchester is hosting its 50th Anniversary Arts Awards Luncheon in March.

The Arts Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have supported and enhanced artistic and cultural life in Westchester. Honorees include Mary Calvi, who is receiving the President’s Award, Joseph Squillante, who is receiving the Artist Award, and We Art One Artist Collective, which is receiving the Sophia Abeles Arts Education Award. The White Plains Puerto Rican Cultural Committee and two individuals – Joyce Sharrock Cole and Christina Picciano – are receiving the Advancing Equity Award.

The luncheon event opens with a networking reception. The awards ceremony will follow during the sit-down lunch, and the afternoon will conclude with a dessert reception.

Tickets are on sale now and will be available until 2:00 pm on March 12, the day before the luncheon. The ticket price is $175 per person or $125 for members of ArtsWestchester affiliate organizations. Sponsorship packages range from $500 to $10,000 and include promotional opportunities and event tickets. Journal ads are $500 for a full page and $250 for a half page. Organizers of events like this often work with local Print shops to create this type of event journal.

The 50th Anniversary Arts Awards Luncheon will take place on Friday, March 13 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase.
