Holiday market to return to White Plains

Downtown White Plains is hosting an indoor holiday market this December.

The annual market was previously held outside, and the organizers hope to create a cozier atmosphere by moving it inside this year. The event will include more than 35 vendors as well as several Christmas-themed activities. Vendors will offer a wide variety of items, including bottled sangria, handmade candles, unique jewelry and custom charcuterie boards. Shops will include Time to Be Candle Company, My Bath Bar, 4 My Dogs, Zhungo Crafts and MTD Cakes. The full list of participating businesses is available on the White Plains Business Improvement District website.

Festive activities will include a nine-hole mini golf course decorated with candy canes and a photo booth with seasonal backdrops. Face painting and kids’ crafts will be available, and Santa Claus and other holiday mascots will be making visits throughout the week.

Attendees can also purchase newly launched Shop Downtown White Plains gift cards, which can be used at dozens of participating local restaurants. Downtown White Plains is pleased to offer the gift cards as a more flexible way for residents to support local businesses. Organizations often use Graphic Design Services to create gift cards.

The Downtown White Plains Holiday Market will be open from Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 14, from 11 am to 7 pm in what was the Barnes and Noble building in City Center.
