Farmingdale will be the location for a weekend festival next month. Both are presented by the Village of Farmingdale and the Women's Club of Farmingdale.
The festival will start off with Art in the Park ‘On the Green’, which is an art show and sale. The artists will be competing for several awards. This is a juried show and all participants must be approved. Fees for both days are $100 for a 10x10-foot booth and $200 for a 10x20-foot booth, although there is a discount for Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce members
Beginning on the same day will be the music festival set to feature more than 25 performers of both local and international fame. Among the entertainers who will be appearing at this year's festival are Buckwheat Zydeco, and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels. For the children, the Kidz Zone is set to provide educational and fun activities, as well as a music stage.
Artists from all around the Farmingdale area will want to participate in this festival. To make sure they know about it, local Stationery printers might be asked to provide advertising materials such as Flyers.
Art in the Park will take place on September 19 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Farmingdale Village Green. The Music Fest will be held on Main Street from September 19 to 20.
