Food and wine tasting to return to Farmingdale

The Long Island Wine & Food Classic is coming back to Farmingdale this September.

The food festival takes place under a single large tent and features a large selection of tasting stations for food, wine and beer. Food samples will be available from more than 30 restaurants, and local Long Island vineyards and breweries will provide wine and beer. There will also be cocktails and non-alcoholic specialty beverages. Organizers often work with Stationery printers to design Signs and Menus for this type of event.

The first Wine & Food Classic took place two years ago. Although it was paused last year when Farmingdale hosted the Ryder Cup golf competition, the organizers hope to make it an annual event going forward. Chef Eric LeVine is coordinating the overall experience and menu. DJ CHEF, who cooks while performing, will provide interactive entertainment.

Early bird tickets are available through this Wednesday, August 19 for $88.01 for general admission and $105.28 for VIP admission. Prices increase to $99.53 and $108.75 this Thursday August 20. VIP tickets offer early entry at 6:00 pm, one hour before general admission at 7:00 pm. All ticket prices include sales tax and processing fees. The tickets are all-inclusive and cover all available food and drinks.

The Long Island Wine & Food Classic will be on Saturday, September 19 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at Farmingdale State College.
