Farmingdale’s 317 Main Street is hosting a comedy show in early February.
Laughter for a Cure: Sofia’s Soldiers Comedy 2026 will include a silent auction and stand-up comedy show. Attendees can order dinner and cocktails and browse and bid on the silent auction items from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The auction will feature a selection of themed gift baskets. The main show, which includes a lineup of multiple comedians, will go on at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are available through Eventbrite for $40 per person. This does not include food or drinks, but 317 Main Street’s kitchen and bar will be open throughout the evening, and attendees are encouraged to place their orders. The restaurant’s chef is “Chopped” Champion Eric LeVine, and it recently won the voting-based #1 Best American/Continental Restaurant on Long Island award. Restaurants often use poster printing services to promote their special events and highlight awards.
Proceeds from the event will support research on Pompe disease that Dr. Priya Kishnani is performing at Duke Children’s Hospital. Pompe disease is a rare genetic condition in which excessive sugar buildup in cells causes progressive muscle weakness. It can currently be managed but not cured.
Laughter for a Cure will take place on Saturday, February 7 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at 317 Main Street in Farmingdale.
