Nu Omicron Chapter and the 3L Foundation, Inc. are hosting their 30th annual golf fundraising event in Farmingdale this summer.
The 30th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic features golf on Bethpage’s Red Course played in a captain’s choice format. The Red Course is considered the second most difficult of Bethpage’s five offerings. The day will begin with a continental breakfast, and lunch will be served after the ninth hole. After the game, there will be dinner with an open bar. Awards will also be presented for best drive, hole-in-one, closest to the pin, and the winning team.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite now. The price, which includes fees, is $321.96 for golfers and $119.22 for non-golfers attending the dinner. Participants will receive a gift bag and a branded golf shirt. Sponsorships ranging from $150 to $7,500 are also available. Organizers often use printing services to create Signs to promote their sponsors during this type of event.
Proceeds will support the New Omicron Chapter’s scholarship programs. These are awarded to graduating high school seniors in Queens. The 3L Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Nu Omicron, which is the Queens chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. The group also runs college tours and other college readiness programs.
The 30th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic will be on Friday, August 28 starting at 10:00 am, at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale.
