The Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its Businessperson of the Year winner at a local bar this fall.
Appetizers will be served, and drinks will be available from a cash bar. The celebration is replacing the regular monthly networking event, so members are encouraged to bring guests and business contacts. Chamber of commerce members often exchange Business Cards at this type of networking session.
The award recipient is Anthony Giallanzo, the owner and founder of No Limit Ninja. He opened the obstacle training center in 2019 and started a mobile ninja course during the pandemic. After these initial projects were successful, he started selling customizable obstacle systems, which he has installed in more than 30 homes and camps. In addition to his business, he is an active member of the Chamber, coaches his daughter’s soccer and basketball teams, and supports new businesses and the Nassau County community wherever possible.
The event is free, but those planning to attend should RSVP on the Chamber’s website by Friday, October 10. Giallanzo will also be recognized at the Nassau County Chambers of Commerce’s Small Business Person of the Year & Legislative Breakfast, which is taking place at Crest Hollow Country Club on October 31.
The FCC Businessperson of the Year Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 16 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at The Nutty Irishman on Main Street in Farmingdale.
