CN Guidance & Counseling Services is holding a pickleball fundraiser this fall.
The Serve Up Hope Pickleball Tournament will include both tournament and open play, as well as a 50/50 and other raffles. Snacks and beverages will be served. Tournament play is a structured competition intended for players with at least intermediate pickleball skills. Open play is more informal and open to those of any skill level. Registration opens at 2:30 pm, and the CEO of CN Guidance will give a welcome address. Pickleball will start at 3:00 pm, and an awards ceremony, including closing remarks and raffle drawings, will be at 5:30 pm.
Players can sign up on CN Guidance’s website for $75 per person and $25 for youth 15 and under. Sponsorship packages are also available and can be purchased on the ticket page. Sponsors will be featured on event Signs and promotional materials. Organizers often use printing services to create these materials.
Proceeds from the tournament will go toward CN Guidance, a nonprofit organization that serves people struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues. Its programs are open to those in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, including residents of Farmingdale and neighboring towns. These include counseling, housing, and other support services.
The Serve Up Hope Pickleball Tournament will take place on Saturday, November 1 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm at Sportime in Washington, New York.
