Special St. Patricks Day celebration planned for Farmingdale

The community of Farmingdale has made plans to host a parade to celebrate its Irish heritage, and everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the procession.

The parade, which will wind its way from Northside School Along Main Street before winding up at the Village Green. Father Michael F. Duffy and Bishop John C. Dunne will act as grand marshals for the day, and there will be marching bands pipes, floats, and several themed walkers. Banners, Signs, and other printed products that can add to the festive air of a function such as this can be supplied by a Print company.

Once the procession is over, the fun will keep on going with Shamrock Photo Ops and other activities on the Village Green, and those who come out are also invited to browse through the Downtown shops and other businesses in the area. Many will have special pricing and other deals for the day. According to the event’s organizers, their goal was to plan a celebration that would offer something for everyone.

The parade and St. Patrick’s Day celebration will all be happening on March 26 from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm. It will be the fifth year that the event has taken place, and all are welcome. Anyone who requires additional details can find them on the Facebook page that has been set up for the event.
