The Melting Pot of Farmingdale will honor teachers with a special dinner planned this month, now that school is out. Teachers in the New York area will enjoy a customized menu with special pricing.
Teacher’s Night Out will offer a choice of fondue cheese selections for the first course. The second course consists of a choice of fresh salads, including house specials. The Teacher’s Pet Platter will be the featured main entrée, complete with teriyaki sirloin, shrimp, chicken and raviolis.
The dessert menu offers a choice of a chocolate fondue from the menu, and will be served with a variety of dippers, including cakes, fruit, and other sweet treats.
As Farmingdale is a small, close-knit community, teachers are well-known and appreciated for the ongoing contributions they make to the education of local children. As school is out of session for the summer season, various leisure activities are planned in the area.
