Food and Wine Festival Planned in Farmingdale Area

Organizers are planning a memorable night for the First Annual Carltun Food and Wine Festival.

Carltun On The Park is the location for the first annual event that will include a variety of wines to sample, as well as food and entertainment. Executive Chef Rodrigo Bernal will prepare all the food served during the evening, and this is expected to include fresh seafood and internationally inspired dishes. Various stations will offer Asian, French, and Italian-inspired selections.

Guests can sample from over 200 wines during the festival. Entertainment for the evening will include a red-carpet entry, live music by Johnny Avino, and a blind auction. Share your night on social media and through postcard printing, because a photo booth with wine themes will be available for guests that want a fun keepsake of the night.

The event takes place on January 19 at The Carltun On The Park, located at 1899 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. The festivities start at 6:00 pm and last until 10:00 pm. Ticket prices are $100 per person, $55 for designated drivers and minors, and $45 for trade tickets.

Anyone under age 21 must purchase a minor ticket and alcohol will not be served to anyone holding a minor or designated driver ticket. All guests are requested to bring current identification. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the event, or through the event website. Minor and trade tickets are available at the door only.
