Farmingdale virtual program to improve eating habits

The Farmingdale Public Library will air a virtual presentation in May covering the connection between what a person eats and how they feel.

The Food Mood Connection is an educational program where viewers can learn about developing healthier eating habits. The presentation will be delivered by Wendy Bonilla, who is a professional Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. The lesson will help people understand how their emotions are connected to food choices, and will offer useful advice to improve their eating decisions. Those who organize presentations like this can advertise their programs with poster printing.

Wendy Bonilla is the founder of the organization Well Balanced with Wendy, and created the Own Your Wellness Annual Women’s Conference. She offers health coaching sessions to help people decipher their unique needs and set personal goals for sustainable change. Bonilla’s services provide clients with healthy recipes, handouts, and two 50-minute meetings per month. A few concepts she uses to assist people include deconstructing their cravings and utilizing the Integrative Nutrition Plate.

The presentation will be held on Tuesday, May 4 and will start at 6:00 pm. Those interested in viewing the broadcast must register by that date. Online registration for the event will open on April 20. People can learn more about Bonilla and her services by visiting her website, where she also has recipes available for the public to cook.
