Farmingdale vintage store to hold crafting class

Back In Time in Farmingdale will be offering a guided crafting activity in September where guests can make their own home decorations.

The "Home" Leaner Sign with Wreath project is part of the Craft and Carafe Classes series. The activity uses paints, brushes, and art materials from Annie Sloan and includes a complimentary alcoholic beverage. Guests will also be treated to cookies provided by the venue's on-site bakery, Elise's Niece's Cafe. No refunds will be given for the class. Instead, customers will receive credits that can be applied to a future crafting activity offered by the organizer.

Back In Time is a business that wishes to rescue, repurpose, and sell American vintage goods. The venue is also home to Cobb's Corner Bar and an outdoor courtyard where people can easily access Elise's Niece's Cafe. Many activities are held at the store, such as furniture painting workshops and community markets. The facility may even be booked for private events like boutique weddings and family gatherings.

The sign-making workshop will be held on September 28th. The cost to attend the activity is $85 per person. Those interested in signing up for the program can call Back In Time to reserve their spot. The business will also hold a door hanger workshop on October 12th. Stores that organize creative events like this may use poster printing to draw more attention to their monthly programs.
