Farmingdale to make time for female achievers

Farmingdale will host the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore’s Women of Distinction and Community Partners Gala in the spring of 2015.

The event will be held at the Eagle Oaks Country Club and is presented as a black tie occasion. The professional and personal achievements of individuals and groups will be recognized and honored on the day.

Honorees from Ocean and Monmouth counties will be saluted for their accomplishments and contributions for the betterment of the community. Embodying the well-established and upstanding qualities found in Girl Scout leaders is seen to be a valuable role model structure for girls in the city by the organizers.

The Women of Distinction, along with Women of Achievement awards, have been in existence for 25 years, with 135 recipients recognized by Jersey Shore’s Girl Scouts.
