Farmingdale State College will be holding a Government Procurement & Business Expo this November at the Campus Center Ballroom.
Any local businesses that wish to interact with agency buyers can attend the Government Procurement & Business Expo. The event was created to give smaller companies a chance to understand how procurement agencies operate. Attendees can meet one-on-one with new potential clients and agency decision-makers. Those who join events such as this can use business card printing to make sure they can properly network with useful contacts.
The business expo is co-hosted by the Farmingdale Small Business Development Center and the Nassau County Office of Minority Affairs. This year, the County Executive of Nassau County will be a featured speaker at the event. Lunch will also be given to those who attend the meeting. Businesses that plan on participating in the expo should bring a capability statement and any marketing materials they possess.
The Government Procurement & Business Expo will be held on Friday, November 15th, from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. Tickets to the event can be purchased in advance for $15. Admission can also be bought at the door for $25, though guests must pay in Checks. The college campus will provide free parking to all attendees. Any businesses without a capability statement can contact the Farmingdale Small Business Development Center for free assistance.
