Farmingdale to hold annual spring festival

The Kiwanis Club of Farmingdale in New York will be holding its annual Spring Festival and Craft Fair this May.

Kiwanis International is an organization founded in 1915 by businessmen living in Detroit. The group is dedicated to assisting children in need by helping countries improve literacy rates and fight hunger while hosting other beneficial service projects. There are over 550,000 members spread across 80 countries. Each year, those in the organization host almost 150,000 projects that help benefit kids around the world.

This year, the Kiwanis Club of Farmingdale will host the festival on the Green located at the local Stop & Shop. The event will feature live entertainment, inflatable rides, and over 100 vendors selling unique crafts. Companies at the festival can use business card printing services to provide consumers who stop at their booths with contact information. There will also be a food court located at the festival.

The Spring Festival and Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is no fee to check out the event, and all ages can visit the festival.

Anybody who would like to show their support for Kiwanis International can donate online to the Kiwanis Children's Fund. Those who are interested in joining the organization can use the Kiwanis website to search for local clubs.
