Farmingdale restaurant supply company purchases competitor
Sam Tell and Son Inc., a 3rd generation restaurant supply and services company based out of Farmingdale, has recently purchased Premium Supply Company.
Premium Supply Company, which had previously been a competitor, was based out of Deer Park. Both companies offer kitchen equipment, supplies, and installation services. Sam Tell, currently New York’s leading restaurant supply company, is also one of the nation’s largest providers of restaurant and food service equipment.
This acquisition will help develop Sam Tell’s national sales and expand their reach into the Northeast, which has been one of their primary goals. With increased inventory and additional locations and warehouses, the companies will likely have to its their list of products and services through updated catalog printing, brochures, and flyers.
The two companies have been friendly competitors for many years and both pride themselves on how they conduct business and treat their customers. This led Sam Tell to name CEO of Premium, Jay Pattinger, as its Executive VP and member of their Executive Committee. Mark Tell, President of Sam Tell, is excited to welcome Pattinger and his team of employees to the company.
Sam Tell says it will welcome Premium’s customers and will be providing the same service and respect that they have had with Premium throughout the years. All parties are looking forward to providing their customers with the additional products and services the combined companies can offer.
