The Fall on the Bay festival proves that outdoor summer fun can continue into fall.
A combination of various sponsors has come together to give Farmingdale area residents a last chance to enjoy festival fun before winter arrives. The October event includes a variety of popular features and many seasonally themed events.
Food trucks and booths from local restaurants, vendors, and live music and entertainment will fill the grounds. Families are welcome, and the organizers have included activities for children including hay rides and a bouncy castle maze. The spook walk is designed to appeal to all ages.
The planners want to remind everyone that before the time comes to visit Print shops for Christmas cards, they should take advantage of this fun fall event. Many vendors will have booths open for boutique-style shopping, so it may even be possible to start the holiday gift-buying a little early.
The fall festival takes place on October 20 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Tanner Park, located at 400 Baylawn Avenue in Copiague. Free parking is available. The organizers would prefer that no one brings outside food or drinks. The admission fee is $20 per adult and $9 for children 12 and under. Guests can pre-purchase tickets on the Eventbrite website and Print and bring the ticket to the festival, or have the receipt on a smartphone.
