Farmingdale offers beer pong tournament

LI-Kick will be organizing a co-ed beer pong contest in March at the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale.

The LI-Kick March Madness Beer Pong Tournament is a social event where people compete for cash prizes. The event will have 32 teams in the competition, and each group is guaranteed to play three games. Each team is encouraged to select its own theme and wear something festive when they take part. Awards will also be won by participants who have the best costume. Competitors are not required to drink alcohol during the tournament.

LI-Kick is an event organizer for adult sports activities that was founded by Sal Farruggia in 2013. The organization began as a kickball league but has grown to include other sports such as bowling, dodgeball, and ultimate frisbee. Other events planned by LI-Kick include group ice skating sessions, volleyball tournaments, and pickleball contests. Coordinators for adult activities like these may promote their outings with poster printing.

The tournament will be held on Sunday, March 27 at 1:00 pm, though players can arrive at noon to practice before the competition. The fee to enter the tourney is $40 per team, and all groups must register in advance. All participants must be 21 or older to play beer pong. The organizers will be using the World Series of Beer Pong Rules for the contest.
