The Farmingdale Public Library has invited author Abby Denson to lead a virtual children's activity in October.
Denson will be attending as part of the library's Virtual Author Visit series. The program will be focused on Denson's graphic novel Kitty Sweet Tooth, which is a story about a dessert-loving feline who operates a movie theater that serves magical sweets. After the discussion, participants will get to try drawing desserts they think Kitty Sweet Tooth would want to eat. Libraries with youth programs like this may advertise the event with poster printing.
Denson is a talented author who has worked on several Books, including Cool Japan Guide and Tough Love: High School Confidential. Her novel Dolltopia earned a Moonbeam Children's Book Award. She has helped script comics for famous series such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Amazing Spider-Man Family, and Disney Adventures. Denson also taught lectures at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art and Sophia University.
The virtual visit with Denson will be held on Thursday, October 7 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and will be intended for children in the grades between kindergarten and 5th grade.
