Farmingdale kids invited to meet the Easter Bunny

An annual village egg hunt is open to everyone and will include plenty of photo opportunities throughout the event.

All Farmingdale children that want to fill their Easter baskets with free goodies are requested to be at the gazebo on the Village Green later this month. Only the earliest visitors will have the best selection of eggs to find. The event was very popular last year, so the organizers are expecting a large crowd again this year.

The egg hunt is free to all community children and is a cooperative event organized by the Cultural Arts Committee, the Farmingdale Fire Department, and many other individual volunteers and groups. Parents can bring their children and get their photos taken with the Easter Bunny before visiting the Print shops to create a unique souvenir. Many local restaurants will be offering special deals for breakfast and brunch on the day of the event, and everyone is invited to try out one of the local eateries.

There is no admission fee for the egg hunt, nor any cost to have a photo taken with the Easter Bunny. The event is scheduled to take place from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm on March 24 at the Village Green at 361 Main Street, with the egg hunt starting at exactly 12:00 noon.
