Farmingdale gym to host summer showdown

Gaglione Strength in Farmingdale will be holding its annual competition this July to see which team can lift the most weights.

The Summer Showdown is an athletic event where individuals and teams compete in powerlifting and push pull contests. Contestants can enter as a teen, junior, or master for the competition, though everyone will be grouped for rewards. The highest tag team score will also be given an award, where teams of three will combine their scores for a super total.

Gaglione Strength is a gym in New York that specializes in strength training and powerlifting. The company’s goal is to educate its clients on how to properly train so that they are motivated to dominate all aspects of their life. Classes are open to those of all skill levels and are held in group settings. Businesses with fitness courses like this can use flyer printing to interest people in showing up for a lesson.

The Summer Showdown will be held on July 18th and the competition will begin at 9:30 am. There will also be a lifters meeting before the event at 8:45. All lifters are required to wear singlets, and those who are deadlifting must wear high socks to the contest. The cost to partake in the competition will be $95 for powerlifting and $90 for the push pull event. General admission to watch will cost $10.
