The business Moonful Mama will be holding a holiday moon circle experience this December at The Nesting Place in Farmingdale.
The Full Moon Women’s Circle is an event where guests can celebrate ancient holidays by attending a meditative gathering. Attendees will listen to old folklore and learn about which modern practices have stemmed from earth-based traditions. There will be a guided meditation session and some time designated for making journal entries. Guests are allowed to bring something comfortable to sit on, and water.
Moonful Mama is a business that is run by Melissa D’Acunti, a clinical psychotherapist who helps mentor women to help them cultivate clarity around their values. She offers a variety of in-person and virtual programs that provide students with transformational lessons and guidance, such as her circle facilitator training program. The women’s circle will be held on Wednesday, December 30 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The cost to attend the experience is currently discounted at $45 per person, though the full price to participate is $55. Attendees are asked to wear white Apparel and arrive about 15 minutes early to the event. Chairs will be provided to any guests who are unable to sit on the floor.
