The 2014 Artisan Market will take place in the Farmingdale Village Green on Main Street, starting this Saturday and running right through November.
The popular annual outdoor event offers special shopping opportunities provided by local merchants and crafters. Handmade crafts and products will be showcased at the event.
Jennifer Avallon, owner of JGA Creations and manager of the Market at the Milleridge Village, is working with the event organizers in hosting this popular Long Island regional fair. Small businesses work with the organizers and artisans to offer a variety of handcrafted gifts and items.
In addition to the shopping experience, food and live music will be presented throughout each day of the Artisan Market.
Frequently, vendors at events like this work with local printers to order materials needed for an event. Banner printing is a common project, as the Banners are needed to display the name of the business within the booth.
Admission is free for the 2014 Artisan Market, and both residents and visitors are encouraged to visit the various vendors. Vendor space is still available and can be reserved via the information provided on the event website.
The Artisan Market will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, getting underway this Saturday, August 16, and continuing through November 15, weather permitting. For more information, the Artisan Market website provides details and contact information.
