Farmingdale garden center to sell peaches

The Georgia Peach Truck will be visiting the Starkie Brothers Garden Center in Farmingdale.

Those interested in purchasing authentic Southern produce can visit the Georgia Peach Truck during its only July visit to Farmingdale. The peaches offered during the event will not be sold individually. Customers may only purchase Boxes of the fruit from the vendor. Each box will contain about 50 to 65 peaches that were picked and packed at Dickey Farms. The products grown at the farms are globally certified for Good Agricultural Practice.

The Georgia Peach Truck is a produce vendor that transports and sells several seasonal goods, including mandarin oranges, pecans, and apples. Each year, the vehicle travels to multiple cities on the East Coast, such as North Attleboro, Severna Park, and Virginia Beach. Those who cannot visit the Georgia Peach Truck can still order Boxes of citrus and pecans through the mail during December and January.

The peaches will be sold at the garden center on Sunday, July 10 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A 25-pound bag of peaches can be bought for $54. Visitors can also purchase a 16-ounce bag of pecans for $22. Those who pre-order their produce can get two Bags of peaches and two Bags of pecans for $144. Vendors like this who use vehicles to deliver their goods to consumers can add their Logo Design to the truck to advertise themselves when driving.
