Farmingdale families invited to beachside festival

All ages are welcome to the upcoming Fall on the Bay event, which promises to have something of interest for everyone. The unusual fall/Halloween event makes the most of the scenery of Tanner Park Beach and its free parking.

The festival will include live music and live entertainment, a bounce castle maze, and plenty of food. Local food trucks and booths from many regional restaurants will be on site to offer a variety of meals and snacks. The Pumpkin Beer Tent will have adult beverages for all attendees over 21. Kids will enjoy the Spook Walk and Hay Rides, and there will be booths set up for boutique style shopping.

Guests will find many other surprises and the festival, and may wish to talk to local business owners or watch for any poster printing from area businesses to see who will be in attendance, and then support their favorites. The adult admission fee is $20 per person and $9 per person for children age 12 and under. Adult tickets include two free beer tastings or for cider or soda for anyone under 21. Children’s tickets include a hayride and admission to all children’s activities.

Fall on the Bay is this Saturday, October 20, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM at Tanner Park, located at 400 Baylawn Avenue in Copiague. Visit the Eventbrite webpage for tickets.
