Farmingdale chocolate shop to host annual gingerbread contest
The Chocolate Duck and the Village of Farmingdale Downtown Events Committee are hosting their 11th Annual Gingerbread and Chocolate House Competition this December.
The competition is open to both kids and adults. All entries need to fit the theme for the year, which is famous Long Island authors. Professional bakers and amateurs, as well as chocolate and gingerbread structures, will be judged in separate categories. Local shops often use flyer printing services to promote their special events.
Contest entrants need to register by December 6. The entrance fee is $25 for adults and $5 for kids and youth 17 and under. Those interested should contact The Chocolate Duck for the paperwork.
