Culinary expert Rob Scott will be organizing an educational food series with the Farmingdale Public Library starting in January.
Chef Rob Scott's Winter Food Festival is a two-part event where people can learn about creating delicious meals from an experienced cook. Each lesson will teach attendees how to make four-person dinners that feature appetizers and a dessert. The first part of the festival will involve breadsticks, a deep-dish spaghetti pie, and apple crumb pie. The second course teaches people how to make quesadillas, panko chicken, and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.
Scott hosts several cooking demonstrations throughout the year at multiple venues, including the Elwood Public Library, Islip Public Library, and Comsewogue Public Library. His virtual classes are family-friendly and help attendees learn about various recipes. The chef also has many holiday-themed courses, such as his sugar cookie and appetizer workshops. Instructors who offer cooking programs like this can use printing services to market events via Posters or Flyers.
The first part of the winter food festival will be held on Saturday, January 23, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and the second part will occur on Saturday, February 20 at the same time. Registration for the first lesson opens on January 9. The login information, recipes, and list of supplies will be emailed to those who register for the event.
