The 3rd Annual Farmingdale Cultural Arts Day program will include theatrical performances, music, and dance.
The activities begin at noon for this daylong community event organized by the Farmingdale Village Cultural Arts Committee. There will be something for everyone at the family-friendly festival that normally includes poetry, music for all ages and performances by local dance companies. The event runs concurrently with the 8th Annual Arts in the Park juried art show and sale.
The committee still hopes to include even more local artists and does not charge a fee for anyone who would like to exhibit their work on the grounds during the events. Any artist that would like to have more visibility for their creations should gather their Business Cards and best work and visit the Arts in the Park application page for more information.
The event takes place at the Village Green in downtown Farmingdale on September 16 with a September 18 rain date. The Cultural Arts Day begins at noon and lasts until 10:00 PM. The committee will release the complete schedule and events list as soon as it is complete. The Arts in the Park show runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no fee to attend either event.
Some shade tents and seating will be available. Guests are welcome to bring their own seating to the event.
