Farmingdale car show to benefit local charity

Hooters in Farmingdale will be hosting the 7th Annual Spring Car Show this April to help support the organization Michael’s Cause.

The Annual Spring Car Show is an event where people can submit their vehicles to be judged in different categories. This year, entries can receive awards for aspects such as best interior, best display, and best in show.

The car show has been sponsored by Hooters, True Street Performance, and Solo Performance Stainless Steel Exhaust Products. People who organize charitable events similar to this can use flyer printing for advertising the occasion to the community.

Michael’s Cause is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy while also raising money towards researching future treatments and cures. The charitable group was founded in 2010 and has directed over $300,000 towards the best possible research. The money raised by Michael’s Cause goes directly to Duchenne R&D. The organization has already made progress by funding the Halo Therapeutics HT-100 human clinical trial.

The 7th Annual Spring Car Show will be held on Sunday, April 26 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is also a rain date of Sunday, May 3 in case of unfavorable weather conditions. The show will have a raffle for those interested in winning prizes. Anyone who would like to support Michael’s Cause can donate on the group’s website, which also has additional information about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
