Farmingdale area lawyers group to host holiday party
The Nassau County Women’s Bar Association is hosting its annual holiday cocktail party and fundraiser in early December.
The event is both a holiday celebration and the group’s annual Mittens Drive fundraiser, which supports L.I. Against Domestic Violence, a nonprofit organization that provides multiple services for domestic violence survivors. These include both short-term assistance like hotlines and emergency shelters and long-term support like counseling, education, job training, and legal services.
The Women’s Bar Association works to support women’s advancement in both the legal profession and society in general. The Nassau County chapter has members from across the county, including residents of Farmingdale and other towns. Attendees often use business card printing services to prepare for networking at professional association events.
Tickets for the holiday party are available now through Eventbrite. The cost is $100 per guest plus Eventbrite fees. Groups can purchase a pack of 10 tickets for $800 plus fees. Businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring the event can also purchase sponsorship packages on the Eventbrite page. Partnerships and sponsorships are available at a range of price points from $100 to $1,500. Those interested can also donate to the mittens drive on the event registration page.
