Expo and Health Fair heads up March

With major events like the 10th Annual Community Summit Expo and Health Fair taking place along with quieter networking events later in the month, Farmingdale’s business community is going to be busier than usual these next few weeks.

Things start off with a bang on the 29th with Farmingdale High School serving as the location for the Farmingdale Community Summit Expo and Health Fair. If the website and the flyer printing are to be believed, this year’s Expo will once again be highlighting businesses in a community setting but is going to feature a bit of a twist with the introduction of “A Taste of Farmingdale”. This simple addition gives restaurants and businesses in the food industry a chance to participate in the fun while showing residents what they’re capable of.

Beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at around 8:30 pm, this evening event is going to be productive but efficient. With sponsorship and advertising space available for the taking, local companies will have opportunity to get themselves out there in multiple ways. The chance to be seen by prospects makes this an event work marking down on the calendar.

At the same time, Farmingdale professionals who want a low-key opportunity to interact with one another have a networking event they can go to on the 29th. Taking place at the Teacher’s Cafeteria in the high school, this meet-up will be going on during the Expo and will feature food that’s provided at no cost.

Whether “going big” or planning to meet with other professionals, Farmingdale entrepreneurs can have their first choice of events.
