Downtown Farmingdale to host outdoor concerts
Farmingdale’s summer concert series is kicking off this July.
Farmingdale Music on Main will include four free, outdoor concerts on Main Street between Front Street and Prospect Street. Restaurants in the area will be open for outdoor dining. Concertgoers are encouraged to visit local shops and restaurants before and during the performances. The events are family-friendly and will include activities for kids. The music lineup is still being finalized and will be announced on the Music on Main website when it is available.
The Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, the Farmingdale Business Improvement District and several Main Street businesses are sponsoring the concert series. Organizers often use printing services to produce signs to recognize their sponsors. Attendees can follow the Business Improvement District on Facebook or Instagram or sign up for its email list to receive event updates.
The section of Main Street where the concerts are taking place will be closed from 3 pm to 10 pm on event days. Parking will be available in the Villages Lots, Howitt School lot and the LIRR train station lot.
