Cover artist to perform at Farmingdale library

The Farmingdale Public Library will be inviting a talented cover artist to perform in person for patrons in April.

Matt Zale will be giving a live performance at the Farmingdale Public Library as part of the Town of Oyster Bay Distinguished Artist Series. The genre Zale typically tends to perform is 60's era British invasion rock 'n roll. His shows feature songs from iconic groups such as The Dave Clark Five, Gerry and the Pacemakers, and The Bee Gees. He has also recorded songs for his own album, like ‘Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying’ and ‘The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore’.

The Town of Oyster Bar Distinguished Artist Series is a program that showcases diverse performances throughout the community. The series will feature many groups, including the New Vintage Orchestra, The Golden Chords, and The Paul Effman Band. People can see these shows at local venues such as the Bethpage Public Library and the Jericho Public Library. The series will continue until Sunday, May 21st, and the final performance will be given by The Chamlins. Organizations that hold musical programs similar to this may use poster printing to let potential local audience members know about the performances in advance.

Those interested in hearing Matt Zale's performance can visit the Farmingdale Public Library on Sunday, April 30 at 2:30 pm. No registration is required to attend the performance.
