Chamber starts year with luncheon and networking

The Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce has posted upcoming events for the first quarter of 2015. Each month, a luncheon and an afterhours networking event will take place.

First of all, the January luncheon meeting will take place at Absolutely Mario Restaurant and Bar on Allen Boulevard on January 8 at noon. Attendees are urged to bring digital Business Cards to network with other members, as well as be entered in a drawing. The winner of the drawing will receive either a ‘Featured Member of the Month’ spot on the website, a banner on the website, or a Spotlight position in the newsletter. The cost to attend is $23.00 for members and $28 for non-members.

Later this month, the After Hours Networking event will take place on January 20 at the Library Café on Main Street from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. A cash bar offering Happy Hour pricing will be available, along with complimentary appetizers.

As the Chamber of Commerce offers many events that provide networking opportunities, having a full supply of Business Cards is essential. Working with a qualified local Print company will ensure the cards are printed to impress and in a timely manner.

The Farmingdale Chamber covers both Suffolk and Nassau Counties, Babylon, Oyster Bay, and The Incorporated Village of Farmingdale. Membership is comprised of several hundred members from each region.
