Chamber starts November with health-focused event

The Chamber of Commerce in Farmingdale will host an informational seminar in November.

‘Just the Facts: Understanding the Health Insurance Marketplace and the Affordable Care Act’ will be presented at Palmer’s American Grille on Fulton Street. The special guest speaker will be Rachelle Neuwirth from North Shore-LIJ CareConnect Insurance Company Inc. The meeting starts at noon.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their Business Cards to exchange during the networking period. The cards will also be entered in the drawing to win a spotlight in the newsletter, a banner on the chamber’s website for a month, or a featured member of the month spot on the website.

Taking place on November 6, members of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce may attend at the member fee of $23, while nonmembers are invited to attend for $28 per person. Payment will be collected at the event via cash or check, but no credit cards are accepted.
