Classic and vintage cars will converge on Carson City for the 7th annual Downtown Revival Car Show.
Presented by the Esther Chapter #3 Order of the Eastern Star, the car show proceeds go to support the Veterans Guest House and other area charitable organizations, which last year received close to $14,000 from the one-day event.
Owners of all makes and models of cars can participate in the exhibition, competing for 30 different awards, including trophies presented for personal favorite cars as chosen by local celebrities.
Car buffs can stroll the line-up of classic autos and support the charities by participating in a poker walk, photo scavenger hunt and other contests. The motor show is a family event that also includes musical entertainment and a pancake breakfast. It will take place rain or shine.
The Downtown Revival Car Show is Saturday, July 13 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Carson Street between Fifth and Robinson Streets. Vehicles will start setting up at 6:00 am in time for judging at 10:00 am. Awards will be presented at 2:00 pm.
Preregistration is $40 and is limited to the first 400 car owners, who will receive a car show T-shirt and goodie bag. Having a good Logo Design is important to the promotion of community events such as this. Late registrations on the day of the show may be accepted at a cost of $50.
