Carson City gets taste of the Dustbowl

The Nashville Social Club will be hosting a performance by the Dustbowl Revival this January.

The Dustbowl Revival is expanding the arena of roots music. With over ten years of musical exploration across ten countries, the band has cultivated a dedicated following. Coming from a hiatus brought on by the pandemic, they've curated five virtual festivals, showcasing an array of artists.

Known for their energetic soul melodies and heartfelt folk-rock ballads, Dustbowl Revival has remained true to their sound. Recent endeavors, such as the single "Beside You" and the ambitious 2020 album "Is It You, Is It Me," signify the band's venture into uncharted musical territories.

Lead songwriter Z. Lupetin's harmonious lyricism, is complemented by new talent like Lashon Halley. Their latest album, while maintaining their characteristic joyfulness, delves into political and personal themes, bravely addressing pressing societal issues in tracks like "Enemy" and "Get Rid of You."

The cost to attend the event will be $30 plus a $4.03 fee. Tickets can be bought through the Eventbrite listing. There will be no refunds for cancellations.
