The Nevada Artists Association in Carson City will present a class on Creating with Glass led by a well-known art enthusiast. Students will learn how to cut, shape, slump, nip, drape, stack, mold, sandblast, and etch various Forms of glass.
Susan Principe will be the instructor. She has stated that she has been fascinated with creative glass for decades. Her first experience was with stained glass in the 1990s. She developed an interest in fused glass in the mid-2000s and has focused on the art of fused glass since then.
Principe has mastered the various techniques as she studied within both the U.S. and Canada. She participates in a number of shows, exhibits, and fairs across Nevada and California.
Organizers often order Posters from local Print shops to highlight the features of an event. The poster printing can include content, images, and graphics. Sponsors can also be recognized on a poster along with the presenter’s name and picture.
Pre-registration is required for this class. The cost is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Participants must be 13 years of age or older.
