Not long after, North Carolina Cooperative Extension will be hosting a Seed Saving Workshop at the Lucile Tatum Homemakers Center in Gastonia. “Taking Your Garden Full Circle” covers selecting, harvesting, and storing seeds, plus tips on variety purity and beginner-friendly crops. This is ideal for homesteaders seeking to preserve favorites, boost resilience, and achieve self-sufficient gardens year after year. This event will be from 10:00 am to noon on Saturday, February 21.
