KNOLL America Inc. is planning to build its new headquarters and a manufacturing facility in the United States in Gaston County.

The new headquarters will be in Apple Creek Corporate Park in Belmont. KNOLL is a supplier of conveyor systems, pumps for metal processing, and filtration systems and transports cooling lubricants. Among the new positions at the facility will be assemblers and technicians, as well as roles in administration, sales, and distribution.

The new headquarters will span 60,000 square feet and include a showroom, distribution center, warehouse, and a state-of-the-art training area, showroom. The property will cover 12 acres and is close to the deep seaports in Charleston and Wilmington as well as the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport which was the major attraction for the company to the site. Establishing a headquarters in a city or town often means the hiring of Stationery printers to create new Letterheads and other printed business materials.

Governor Roy Cooper expressed his excitement about this global manufacturer choosing North Carolina for its new headquarters. He said that this decision confirms the reputation of the state for having a great quality of life and a strong manufacturing workforce.
