Gastonia to gain new home and fashion outlet store

The Eastridge Mall in Gastonia will soon be home to a new Belk outlet store.

Belk already has a presence in the mall. The regular store will move to the second floor, while the first floor will be converted into an outlet store of the same brand. Banner printing can be used in front of such stores to inform customers of upcoming changes and their benefits.

Customers will be able to shop for a wide range of high-end designer brands at this new store at discounted prices.

CEO of Belk, Don Hendricks, said that Belk opened its first outlet store almost two years ago, and the company has found that customers like the combination of an outlet store and a traditional store in one place. He expressed his excitement about adding this approach to another of its existing locations, as it will provide more customers in North Carolina with the opportunity to shop for a wide range of high-end and designer brands at lower prices.

The first outlet store of Belk was opened in Greeneville, Tennessee in January 2023. Since then, it has opened 16 more stores, with the concept of two floors first implemented at its Northlake Mall location over in Charlotte.

No specific date has been announced as to when this store will open.
