Convenience store chain expands in Gastonia
One of several new 7-Eleven convenience stores will be coming to the corner of Union Road and Neal Hawkins Road in Gastonia.
The property is 5.5 acres in size and is owned by Encore-Robinwood, LLC. which purchased the lot in October for $1.4m. Encore Real Estate Investment Services helps their clients to acquire property across the country and open retail and food chains.
A new building has recently been erected on the site. The store plans to offer fresh baked goods, coffee, and gasoline, among other items. A spokesperson for the store said that there will be a new beverage experience at the store. Customers will be able to customize their coffee beverage at prices more affordable than typical coffee houses.
The store is expected to open next month and will employ close to 20 people. It will be one of the five such stores to open in Gastonia in the upcoming months. Banner printing can be used at such sites to keep the community informed of such stores and their opening dates.
Another store will be replacing the Omni Mart on West Franklin Boulevard at the corner of South Myrtle School Road. Construction on this store has yet to begin. Another store, along with a carwash, will be replacing the Grier Apartments at Garrison Boulevard and South New Hope Road.
